Community Partners

As we continue to strengthen our collective impact in the greater Longview community, we are excited to share an important evolution in how Greater Longview United Way partners with organizations in our community.

Beginning in January 2026, we are launching a new Community Partner designation that recognizes the vital role organizations play in advancing our shared mission—even in the absence of direct funding. This framework reflects our commitment to maintaining meaningful relationships with nonprofits whose work aligns with our mission, vision, and values.

Imagination Library

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library puts books into the hands and hearts of children across the
worldDPIL. Greater Longview United Way partners with the Imagination Library to provide a hand-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality book each month to registered children from birth to age five. We are currently offering this program to those that live in Gregg County.

Read to Succeed

The “Read to Succeed” initiative focuses on promoting literacy so that students are reading on or above grade level by the end of third grade. Additionally, this initiative seeks to increase students’ love of reading as well as provide access to quality reading materials.

Youth Opportunity

Opening Doors for the Next Generation

Every child deserves a strong start and a bright future. Greater Longview United Way supports programs that expand access to education, mentorship, and enrichment opportunities. These efforts give young people the tools they need to grow, lead, and succeed. United is the way to empower our youth and strengthen our community for years to come.

SingleCare

Greater Longview United Way partners with SingleCare (formerly FamilyWize) to provide community members with access to affordable prescription medications, ensuring greater health and financial stability.
