Come Prepared

This is a two-day outdoor event with many activities so be sure to dress comfortably and according to the weather. It is also highly encouraged that you bring chairs because seating will be very limited. 


Parking on both days will be in Bear Creek Smokehouse's parking lot. If additional parking is needed, someone will direct you to a designated overflow parking area. 

Friday Night

Friday night is 21 and up ONLY. The gate opens at 5:30 PM and live music will start shortly after at 6 PM. There will be appetizer-size portions of a variety of foods provided by our cook teams. There will also be limited amounts of free beer and wine that have been donated by area businesses. There will be security on-site during the event to ensure everyone stays safe. 

Guest Judge 

Friday night guests will have a chance to enter a drawing to be a guest judge on Saturday. The winner will be announced at 8 PM. The winner must be present and able to appear for judging on Saturday from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM.


Saturday will be welcome for all ages.  The gate opens at 10 AM. Cook teams will start turning in their competition entries in 30-minute increments starting at 11 AM. Once they have provided entries for our judges they will begin serving samples to guests. 

Raffle Drawing

There will be a raffle drawing on Saturday. The ability to purchase raffle tickets online will end at 1 pm on Saturday. The winners of the raffle drawing will be announced at approximately 1:30 PM after the BBQ competition winners are announced. Winners need not be present to win. Prizes must be picked up at the event or from our office in Longview, TX. Winners that are not present will be contacted on the Monday following the drawing to make arrangements to pick up their prizes.
