Cookin’ at the Creek is the culminating event of the Greater Longview United Way annual campaign, happening each March at Bear Creek Smokehouse. Through great food, good music, and good times, we hope to raise awareness and celebrate the success of the campaign.

Who doesn’t enjoy great BBQ and a little friendly competition? Teams compete for bragging rights and some pretty awesome trophies! Enter a cook team (or multiple) and be sure to bring a crew to cheer you on!

If you don't cook, just come eat and have fun! There will be a live band, lots of activities for the kids, and plenty of delicious BBQ!

Cookin' at the Creek will return March 18th & 19th. You can register a team or become an official sponsor now. Tickets are not available yet, but you can sign up for our contact list and be the first to know when they go on sale!

 

 

 

Enter a team in compete for best Beans, Beef Brisket, or Anything Pork. Teams will be judged by local media, local dignitaries, BBQ experts, and celebrities. Trophies will be awarded for 1st place in each category and People's Choice.

The $200 entry includes:

  • 4 wristbands (for head cook and up to 3 assistants)

  • a 12x24 cook space

  • the ability to enter one or more categories

Proceeds from the cook off will benefit the 37 programs supported by GLUW. Contributions from companies like yours play a significant role in making this event a big success. We cannot do it without you!
